Product Lifecycle
Stages of the DWDM.ME Equipment Lifecycle:
At this stage, the equipment is actively manufactured, available for order, and delivered with full documentation and technical support. This phase ensures maximum availability.
After mass production ends, the equipment remains available in limited quantities. Technical support, firmware updates, and spare parts are provided – subject to stock availability.
At this stage, production and sales are discontinued. Support continues for a defined period (typically 1-2 years after the EOL announcement), giving customers time to migrate to newer solutions.
Important: receiving EOL status for specific components or devices does not imply the end of development opportunities. DWDM.ME offers up-to-date replacements for discontinued models – newer, more powerful, and energy-efficient devices fully compatible with existing architectures. This enables uninterrupted network development in line with modern technology requirements.
