Muxponder Service Card LC-MP200-II- 200G (2xQSFP28 to CFP2-DCO)

The 200G Muxponder Transmitter supports two QSFP28 client interface and one CFP2 line-side interface to support single-channel 200Gbps large-grain data transfers. The industry’s most advanced coherent technology and FEC forward error correction coding technology enable high-capacity, long-distance high-performance transmission.

DWDM.M’s 200G Muxponder includes integrated OTN FEC capability on the transponder, allowing operation over longer distances or in applications requiring ultra-low bit error rates.

The 200G Muxponder offer a choice of pluggable QSFP28 Client Side Optics and CFP2-DCO Coherent DWDM Line Side Optics based on distance and capacity requirements.

The Coherent DWDM Optics are the most technologically advanced and offer benefits on dispersion management, signal reach, and other optical properties. Coherent DWDM Optics can greatly increase the capacity and reach of an optical network, The 200G Muxponder models fits for MU Series MU-70-ACDC, MU-180-ACDC, MU-380-ACDC Chassis.

    FAQ

What is the main difference between the LC-MP200-II muxponder and the 100G model?

The LC-MP200-II supports aggregating two 100Gbps client channels into a single 200Gbps line stream, doubling the network capacity.

What modules are used for client and line connections?

It utilizes two QSFP28 ports for the client side and one 200Gbps CFP2-DCO coherent port for the line side.

What types of traffic does this device support?

The muxponder supports 100Gbps LAN or WAN PHY data transmission, providing media and lambda conversion services.

Is signal regeneration required for long-distance transmission?

No, integrated FEC technology and coherent optics allow for transmission up to 1,500km without the need for regeneration.

What are the wavelength tuning and interference tolerance capabilities?

The device supports 80-channel DWDM wavelength tuning and features high dispersion tolerance up to 40,000 ps/nm.

What are the power consumption and operating environment requirements?

The maximum power consumption is ≤50W, with an operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C.
